Hi all,

I currently have a Belkin wireless G Router with a modem built in, however I am finding that, when streaming from my iMac to my Apple TV the router can't seem to cope. Looking into the Apple routers, I have found that the Airport Extreme best fits my needs.

However, I have also noticed that it requires a separate modem for internet access, so my question is will I be able to plug the Airport Extreme via. Ethernet into my current modem router, and just use the old router as a modem?

Thanks to all.

Is that Belkin modem/router provided to you by your ISP? If so, you'll have to keep it, turn off its wireless and connect your Airport Extreme to it in bridge mode. Google it, and you'll see how, really easy.
