How long do you think Apple will support it? I know they disbanded the team responsible for it, but they still sell it in the store for full price. I love mine, but I am looking for a router for a relative and was wondering if they'd get a few years out of it at least.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,

My airport extreme is so seamless that I would get another one if mine died today.

I have an -older- Airport Extreme (the flat model, and an older version of that one).
It has always worked flawlessly, BUT...

... I WOULD NOT buy another one.

Instead, I decided to upgrade with a Linksys Velop "mesh" system (2 nodes).
Works fine (although my ISP speeds are slow to begin with).

You've posted about this before.
Buying an Airport Extreme today is "buying into past technology".

Investigate the mesh systems instead.
Even Apple is now selling the Velop system (rather than develop their own)...
