Airport Extreme

Hello,

I have an Airport Extreme base station and an Airport Express set up as a relay station.
Will using this Express prevent me from being on the 'N' network?
What are the benefits of the 'N' network?
Is there a way I can tell what network I am on?

If you have the new N-capable Airport Express, you should be good to go. Otherwise, it looks like you are out of luck, as the old Express lacks the MIMO-capable radio needed for N (and even then, it would be limited to the 2.4GHz spectrum).
