I have a Imac for about 2 months now. I was using a pc before this; and i still use it for some programs. (its a portable) My question is if i purchase the extreme and set up can i print with both machines without any problems. I don't want to spend the money if its not going to work. The pc is a winxp unit. and to print from one to the other i just move the print cord from one unit to the other. (this is a pain)

Can anyone with both that are using one printer i would appreciate the input.

thanks :)

Question: AirPort Express connects via wire to my third-party router, and I have plugged a compatible USB printer into AirPort Express. Will it share the printer with my non-Apple computers, too?
Answer: AirPort Express acts as a print server for any Mac OS X 10.2 or later, Windows 2000, or Windows XP computer that is on the same subnet, regardless of whether the third-party router is wired or wireless.

I can say I've successfully printed documents on my printer connecting to my Airport Extreme router using Windows Vista.

So yes, if you connect a USB printer to the Airport Extreme you can print documents using both your PC and Mac.
