If you mean the 100Mbps Apple Extreme Base Station - yes, I have one and it works just fine after the latest firmware update...

Are you referring to the WiFi speed? Both generations support 54Mbps (802.11g). The big difference is that the first gen's Ethernet only goes up to 100Mbps and the second gen goes up to 1Gbps...
