Is this the latest one? Full blown N speed with G option and USB hookup?

It has significantly higher output power with 802.11g and 802.11n. The Airport Extreme Wikipedia also has a chart showing the improvements and there are numerous reviews of the new AE that show the improvements.

I replaced a 4th Gen with a 5th Gen and have seen solid improvements in performance and range.
