Macbook 1.83GhzC2D with Leopard installed. Could go online with it earlier on a wireless network at home, but now the computer gets full reception but gets the can't connect to internet message in Safari on the same network a few hours later. And yet, the PC laptop connects just fine.

The Mac is getting an IP address (192.etcetc) from the router, but I can't figure out why it still can't go online.

It's your router. Is it an Action Tech? I had the same problem in Tiger with a Verizon Action Tech until I bought a Netgear, and plugged it into the Action Tech. Haven't had a problem since.

I believe that is a Linksys router, but I'm not sure because it was my girlfriend's network. Even if it is the router, how would I go about fixing it? I'm sure routers aren't biased against Macs.

Apparently the router was set to only allow certain MAC addresses. Had to access router settings and add in the Macbook.

iChat also works now. Fixed itself after a night, I suppose.
