Hi all,
Here was my setup until today: I had my DSL modem wired to my Airport Extreme Base station hosting my wired/wireless connections. Nothing changed in terms of wiring. Today, I added an Airport Express in my family room in order to extend the range of my wireless network. I have checked "allow this network to be extended" on the base station, and also have properly configured the Airport Express to extend the network. I made a minor change on the base station (clicked the box to check for firmware updates automatically), and had to save the config and it automatically restarted the base station. However, now my base station has an amber light instead of green. All my connections (both wired/wireless) still work fine though. The only thing is I can no longer see the base station in Airport Utility to make config changes. Also, my USB hard drives connected to the base station no longer show up on the network. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks!
