Hi all, I just have a quick question.
My PowerMac's Airport cut out this morning. I can turn the card on via the reception bar icon in the menu bar but I cannot see any networks at all. I've tried to find the base station's ID and I also set up a computer to computer network over airport to see if the PowerMac could see that.
Unfortunately, it can't see either the base station or the computer to computer. Does this mean that the airport card has gone out? Or could it be worse, like the connection to the actual logic board?
The airport has worked flawlessly for the last 5 years, so my suspicion is the actual airport card.
Can anyone help me confirm my belief or offer a suggestion on if it's something else?
Thank you all
Crawn
p.s. and if it is the airport card or the connector to the logic board, does any manufacturer make a USB or Firewire external wireless (Airport) card?
