airport is off after waking from sleep

ok so my laptop got water on it and i had it repaired..new logic board, new screen...

ever since repair when i close the lid and then open it like over 3min later airport is turned off...turning it on it connects no problem at all...if open lid within a min or 2 AirPort is still on

i cant figure out how to have it on when lid open....could this be hardware issue with the new logic board or software issue?

i found a thread that said to delete some config file in my Library and that might do it but i cant find the thread anymore...anyone know which file?
