Hi there. There's some sort of mal-communication going on inside my ibook. Occasionally, I use my neighbours wireless (And yes, I have his permission to do so). Yesterday, wierdness happened. I could see on the menubar that there was plenty of signal (3-4 bars) but none of my apps could connect. Tried zapping PRAM, repairing permissions, reboot, reboot and reboot; but no cigar. Anyone out there with a cure?

So, you're connected to the Wireless signal, but does your Mac get an assigned IP address? Usually you'll get a 10.0.x.x address. Check your System Prefs - Network - Aiport - TCP/IP.

Do you know if your neighbour was getting any 'net action? Sometimes the router just needs to be unplugged for a minute to reset some of the settings. :)
