so i have a weird problem, i have an imac g4 700 with original airport card, and i have an original airport running a closed WEP network thats 128 bit encryption. OS 9 is able to see my network and connect to it just fine, no issues. I have a pismo running os9 also but it can't connect to the exact same network. i have tried swapping cards thinking that maybe one has a higher firmware, but when i did that, the imac still connects with card #2. the pismo will not connect with card #1. the pismo see's the other networks just fine, it's just mine it has an issue with. i specified the exact network name but when i put in my passcode, it says it's the wrong code. but the same name and code works with the imac.
is there something i am missing? each card has the 2.0.4 software or am i inputting the passcode wrong?
i remember reading some time back that you either had to add a space or delete a character from the passcode to get it to work, but i can't remember anymore

i think i may have fixed my issue, i reset the passcode on the base station to the exact same passcode i had before using my titanium using osx, re-entered the mac filtering airport card id's and rebooted the router.

Now i am connected to a filtered hidden network for my classic macs. pismo connected just fine and titanium connected just fine. will check imac later.
