Airport music streaming from iphone to tv

Hi everybody. I'm trying to connect apple tv to my car and i have just one question.

Can i just stream music content from my iphone to apple tv and use default apple tv interface to show album covers, song names, etc and use default apple tv remote to navigate my iphone music library using apple tv?

Yes, i have a wi-fi router to connect iphone to apple tv. But i don't have internet.

And it's still a project. I didn't connect this stuff to my car yet

You should be able to stream your phone to the ATV BUT you'll need internet for everything else to work...

i know - i can do mirroring from my phone. I know how to do mirroring.

But i don't know - can i use ATV remote to control music. I need to use remote because i can't use my cell phone while i'm driving
