Hello,

I have bought an 802.11n base station that's not Apple's Airport Extreme station.

I have just got the iMac 802.11n enabler.

How do I change my iMac to use the wide bands and get the full 802.11n speed, since it currently thinks I'm in the UK and only uses half of the band.

If you look at this post it shows how to set yourself as Ireland and then enable wide band, but how can I access that if I don't have an airport base station. http://screencastsonline.com/forums/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1172073818/0#0.

My base station is capable of all bands and top speed 802.11n.

Thanks
