I've got 12" iBook 1GHz running 10.3.9 and a Netgear Wireless G router which works perfectly. Originally when I'd wake my iBook from Sleep it would connect automatically to my Netgear router. Lately, however, I have to connect manually from the Airport icon in the Menu bar (or Internet Connect).

It's not really a major hassle because my network is always in the list and just involves clicking on its name to connect but ... I liked it the way it was working before. And I don't know why it stopped working that way all of a sudden. Any ideas?

Not sure why the behavior would change, but do you have your wireless network specified as the default network in the network control panel?
