Hi All.

I have just bought a decent A3+ Photo printer for myself to use to print my photos, my first instinct is to plug it into my MacBook Pro using a decent belkin USB cable to obtain the maximum possible quality and to ensure that the whole image is transferred perfectly.

However, I then began to wonder if there will actually be any quality difference between a high quality USB cable and printing via my one of my airport express base stations - I have two of them, one with my everyday printer and the other is empty.

If I do use it over airport, will there be a quality loss, or will it not be able to send all of the details / settings to the printer?

Despite the impression that this thread gives, I do know what I am doing and am not just talking about printing some 'holiday shots'. I am talking about printing proper photos at the highest possible quality.

What do you think?

Regards and Happy Christmas!

No, it all depends on the printer.
