Hi.

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am having a problem with airport that is driving me crazy.

I bought an airport last year and decided to connect it to my other router and use it as a bridge. This worked fine, but as my first router is getting old and port mapping is a real hassle I decided to just use the airport.

I connected it, reset it and everything went fine. I connected to the airport and set it up wireless using my macbook.

Now the two pc's that are connected to the airport through ethernet are fine and connect to the internet no problem. My windows laptop is working perfectly through the wireless network. It is only my macbook that connects to the network but I am not able to access the internet!

I have tried everything (or as much as I know) and no luck! It has no trouble finding my external hard drive that is connected to the airport so there is definitely a connection. But not one single application will connect to the internet.

Can anyone help.... please?!

Of course, just after I post this I find the solution after trying different things for about 3 hours.

In my network settings I had to configure IPv4 to use DHCP WITHOUT manual address.
