Airport Problems with new card

Hi there,

I recently switched my airport extreme card in my macbook.
everything works fine, great signal and so on.

Unfortunately when my macbook "overloads" Photoshop/Cutting videos etc. it drops the connection and doesn't reconnect until i put it to sleep and wake it again.

Is this a common problem / is there a solution for it?
