"airport: process going crazy?

Everytime I log on, the "airport" process keeps going to 95+% CPU usage, making my fans go absolutely crazy, but I can continue to use the internet etc fine. Any idea what's going on?

There is a known issue with this happening on systems with Vmware fusion installed.
That may be your problem if you have that installed.
