Airport slow to connect now after "N" update...

Ever since the "N" update my MBP takes forever to find new locations, other than my home. At home it works great, I open it up, I'm online.
On the road I have to wait like 3 min, or click the airport symbol, then select other, then navigate to the new one.
Any ideas???

Tried the delete .plst but still nothing. Anyone else get a solution to this? It's so annoying. Thanks!
