AirPort Software Updates Changed My Hostname?

After I installed today's AirPort Admin Utility and Client Software updates, my hostname (as seen in my Terminal.app prompt) had an "-2" appended at the end. Rebooting did not remedy it; eventually I used the Edit button at the top of the Sharing preference pane.

Anyone else notice this?

That's relatively normal. It's part of how Apple tries to avoid conflicts with multiple machines on one network having the same 'name'...though it is nice to know the new firmware has, at least, a chance of doing that. (Yea, it bugs me, too, when my machine gets renamed. )
