I switched to Mac in June and have been very happy with it since, although 'it just works' hasn't proven to be true all the time...
I'm wirelessly connected to my cable modem through a Time Capsule. Since a week or two (maybe after the 10.5.5 update?) I don't get an internet connection straight away after a cold startup or sleep. Most of the time part of a page will load, but then it stops. Strange thing: when I click the airport icon in the menu bar, the connection kicks in again, as long as the menu item is opened.
Restarting my Mac helps, the connection just works again then. Now I've noticed it's also sufficient to stop & restart Airport again. So no real big issue, but still an annoyance. Can anyone explain this?
