Has anyone noticed that the newest version of the Airport Utility will not automatically connect/mount an AirDisk to your desktop? Version 5.2.1 won't allow it, and the AirDisk icon will not show up in the Menu Bar either. I have to always go into Finder, click on my AEBS under Shared to see if it will connect. Even if it does it will sometimes put me as Guest, and I have to double click again on the drive in order to get it to display on the desktop.

The only resolution I found was to uninstall and install Version 5.0 off of my Airport Utility disk that came with the AEBS. Then everything works correctly. AirDisk Utility shows up on the Menu Bar, and the drive immediately shows up on my desktop once it connects to the AEBS. I did try to upgrade through Software Update, and it went back to the crap way I described above. So I reverted back again, and everything is back to working fine.

Is there any workaround to get it to work properly under 5.2.1? Or should I not be that concerned since it's working correctly and great under the prior version 5.0? My firmware is 7.2.1 if that helps, and it's an AEBS (non-Giga).

Thanks
