Airport Won't Turn on after Brother Printer Driver Installation

Hi,

After I installed Snow Leopard everything has been working fine but I installed the latest Brother fax/printer driver and supporting apps yesterday Airport stopped working. So I restarted the computer but still won't turn on, no matter what I do. I'm not 100% sure if they are related but it's hard to believe they are not. I can remove all the Brother related stuff but I still need the printer driver.

Has anybody had this problem and can anybody suggest a solution?

Similar Problem

OpenNetwork Preferences. You will see that the location is set to Automatic.

Click the control and create a new location - call it home or office or something.

That may clear your problem.

I have intermittent problem on iMac with wireless since upgrade to 10.6.1.

Only occurred after Apple installed new printer drives by recommendation. Complaint is now at Tier 2 of their tech support - still denying there is a known issue.
