ok i need to get a airport for ibook g3 is the 1st airport card going to work with with my wifi it sky bb with a (g) wifi signal any ideas or am i better getting a usb wifi dongle

most wifi routers can send out older signaling standards like 802.11b. have a look at your router's manual, as you didn't really state what model you use, only your isp.

I think the cards for those aren't made any more and are very expensive used. So you may be better off with the usb dongle, even though the speeds on that will be slow (USB 1.1)

They (the AirPort cards) cost around 80$.

ok well i found a usb dongle for osx it only like 20 bucks so i prob going get that but thaks for help all

ok i got a usb wifi dongle dont work work with tiger or panther so i took it back and now getting a airport card and keep fingers crossed lol
