One day at about 5 in the morning my internet service went dead, could not work it out. I am in germany, station with the military so my german is not good. Found out that t-online had updated the back end to a new pppoe server. Once I found this out I loaded the prior version of the software for my aitport and it worked.

I am now using 5.5.1, the version that does not work is 5.6, I just tried the version 5.7 and still can not negociate the link.

I know lots about PPPoE, and PPP I used to develop router stacks and protocols, PPP was my favorite project. My guess that apple broke the PPP negociation in the sync.

Just letting people know if you have an apple basestation that fails to work, well just try gogin back to a older version.
