Hi Guys!

Since the new update is released, my Airport Utility Software, on my MBP, tells me with every start that there is an update (5.4.1) available. Now you have two choices. 'Cancel' to ignore the update and continue working with the software or 'Update'. Choosing 'Update' starts a search as if you would select 'Software Update' from the :apple:-Menu. After the search is finished, with the result that there is no new update available, the Airport Utility quits.
Ignoring the message in the beginning all though allows you to configure your Airport Extrem, wich means, I was able to update the firmware to 7.4.1.

Has anybody an idea what is going on here and why the software will not update?

Thanks a lot.

Did you search apple support? Often if it is happening with you, it is happening with others.

Perhaps from Apple Support, you can search on "airport update not updating" or something similar with relevant key words.

I have no idea why your machine isn't working right.
