Hi,

I have a new iPad and a Epson 810. I'm trying to get it to print from my iPad, with no luck. I've tried air-print activator on my iMac and still doesn't work. I used this my PC when I had it and it worked great, on my iPhone 4s. I'm looking to print emails and documents. Is there something out there, that will do this?

Thanks, Jerry

Does the Epson 810 have the AirPrint capability? If so, does it need an update?

Your iPad must be connected to the same wi-fi as the printer...

Use Epson 810 with iMac

No, it does not! But with Windows that didn't matter, looking for something that will work with my iMac!!

Thanks

I have the Epson Artisan 810 and it works perfectly fine in my Mac studio and home. We have 10 Macs + an iPad, and iPhones, etc. I connected the 810 via Ethernet to our router so that it is accessible by every device. If it's connected to one computer via USB then it can only be printed from other devices when that computer is turned on and has printer sharing enabled. Your iPhone or other Mac would then print "thru" the computer connected. The Epson 810 also has wireless built-in, but I find it to be flaky on just about every inkjet I've used. Ethernet is rock solid, and if connected to a wireless router then it "becomes a wireless printer" in a way.

Which OSX version are you running? OS 10.7 and 10.8 will automatically check with Epson via Apple Software Update for the latest driver. If you're on 10.6.x or earlier then you will need to go to Epson's support page to download the driver manually.
