iPad Airprint for Dummies

I travel to remote areas where there is NO network/wifi/internet.

I want to use an Ipad as a word processor (Pages) and whilst still there without wi/fi, network / network I want to immediately print onto A4 paper.

I was hoping to use it with say an HP Envy 120 all in one printer which has airprint.

Everyone I speak to about this wants to talk network/wifi/internet and even cloud (whatever that means) but where I will be has none of these.

If I have an ipad and the above printer and nothing else - the query is can i print from the printer using the ipad.

Thanks for any help on this.
