AirPrint Multifunction Monochrome Laser

Does such a device really exist at a reasonable price?

I recently returned an HP 1217 because there is no scanner support for Lion nor any indication of when the software will be available. HP was no help.

Perhaps I'd have to give up fax, but that would be a reasonable compromise. AirPrint is almost a must have. Any suggestions will be most welcome.

I too bought the m1217nfw because it was the only multifunction laser with airprint and wireless. Got it last month. Software that shipped with it didn't allow scanning (wired or wireless) with Lion.

The other day, I checked and saw that HP had posted new software as of 9/20.

The new software enables scanning using the HP utilities under Lion.

I can even scan over WiFi
