My mother has a 3G iPad. This is the only computer in the house, and the 3G is the only connection. She would like to be able to print coupons from the web.

Is it possible to do this without manually switching the WiFi on and off? I have no problem buying one of the new HP printers that supports AirPrint, but I need a solution that just works - for a technophobe.

Has anyone worked out a solution that allows the iPad to use 3G to connect to the web and WiFi strictly for printing?

If I had to go to something like a MiFi Access Point, would the printer be able connect to it? I know that some cellular access points (Clear iSpot) are limited to certain types of devices; not sure if any of them support printers.

Thanks for your suggestions!
