AirPrint works with proof!

How did you set it up? I have iTunes 10.1 beta and printer sharing active for my HP Laserjet printer, but both my ipad and iPhone do not find any printer.

In 10.6.5 go to system preff. Then printers. Then you should check a box that says share this printer on network.

I had that on but I deactivate it and then activated back again, but it didn't work.

Last thing to check is that ur phone is on the same network as ur comp.

Of course it is. I wonder if AirPrint works with all printers.

Well mine is Xerox and I've tested 3 others in the office. So far all of them worked.

It worked with one (a few years old) HP printer on the beta of 10.6.5. I have a natively supported one now so I'm not sure if it works through printer sharing

Did you have a previous Mac OS beta installed? That would explain why it still works after you upgraded.

With Windows 7 I was easily able to share my Brother HL-2140 (not wireless, no ethernet port) and print from my iPad.

Not working on my HP. Brand new, the all in one, but not the eprint one. If I knew I would have paid the extra 40 bucks.

Works with canon Printer. Tried it on Mac and PC. They all work including my iPad and iPhone.

I will always stay away from HP and brothers for my life. They are awful and they are piece of crap.

I've never had a bit of problem w/ my two Brothers -- though they are a PITA to initially configure if you want wireless or PS compat. I agree w/ you about HP.

Problem solved, but only by using files from a beta release fo 10.6.5

It was removed. You can put it back, though. Which I have and now it works, so I'm happy.

What model xerox do you have? I can't get my work center 8650 to work.
