Growing old waiting for 2nd gen airtags that aren't so bulky/curved and have built in hold for carabener.

any intel on what those might be coming out? thought I saw a rumor on that a while back but have forgotten. I am on the fence on getting more of these or not. the price is good.

I bought an AirTag for something that it turns out it couldn't do and I still haven't found a use for it

I'm only reminded when once and awhile I open and close the drawer it's in and It makes it's bleepy noise

....
I guess the problem is I haven't flown anywhere in awhile. I could see it making sense for luggage

I have always had a problem in misplacing my stuff... the proverbial 'you would lose your head if it wasn't screwed on' person. I also own a home and things get to get dropped wherever I am, so when it comes time to find them, AirTags help.

I put AirTags on almost anything I might a) move but on an occasional basis, and b) care about. For example my computer bag (sometimes will forget and leave at work, or sometimes its in my car), or my camera bag, my sunglasses case (always misplace this, did I leave it in the car, or at work, or god knows where at home), and of course my keys! Anytime I spend 15 minutes looking for something, I slap an air tag on it so I can find it easier the next time. Has helped numerous times.

But I am probably a worst case scenario (pun intended)
