I have an airtag on my car keys and one on office key. I'm working mainly from home so they're always "with me". But every time I walk up to pick them up at home, I get the alert beeping as if they've been separated from me. And just now, both are in my pocket, phone is with me, and the beeping goes off again. Battery levels are fine. Why do they keep beeping when they're never separated from me?

Assuming you mean AirTag?? You really don’t wanna be carrying airbags around, they are explosive devices

I would suggest restarting your iPhone… See if that fixes it?

Don’tcha love autocarrot? Airtag becomes airbag…!

Damn autocorrect. Will try preparing and restarting, but that really shouldn't be necessary for these I would think.

This was happening to one of mine. Took it out of the Belkin keychain holder, took the battery out for a minute, then put it all back together. Hasn't happened since. So I guess either the battery/door was loose, or it needed to be restarted.

Mine did this when I had Bluetooth off for a few days. Turned it on and it hasn’t done it since.
