My mom has early signs dementia and loses her keys easily. I bought Tiles for her 2 sets of keys and 2 AirTags for her keys as well (i wasn't sure at the time which worked better.) She lives around 2.5 hours away, but before i could always make the AirTags beep...but now it keeps saying "AirTag Not Reachable. AirTag is too far away." Did they change something on AirTag or iOS 15?

AirTags keep saying 'AirTag Not Reachable. AirTag is too far away" but it didn't used to do that

The only connectivity AirTags have is bluetooth (yes, they also have UWB, but that's only for precision finding). They have to be within range of an iPhone that has bluetooth enabled and a data connection. If they're not actually connected to an iPhone you can't manipulate them with FindMy.
