I had very high expectations for the Airtags, and I can say they have been met. I’ve read so many negative posts that you’d think they’re defective. Must be the Macrumors effect. Well, they work.

Here I needed to find my car keys. It connected at 55 feet, and gave me an extremely useful and accurate arrow at 47 feet. Followed the arrow to my keys.

Worked as designed.

When the really thin iPad Pro models came out in 2018 you would have thought that they bended when you breathed on them by some of the posts. Three years later I still love mine.

I get my Airtags in about a week. Can't wait to do a similar test!

Wow pretty good. Was this outside, or in a wide-open space? Or in a place with walls n' stuff?

That was inside my house. I have a regular house, with concrete walls on the outside and wood frame on the inside.
Just did a test in my house (drywall interior 2 floors). My dog was picked up at 41 feet after about 30 seconds of sitting and waiting. But I didn't get a directional arrow till I was much closer. Of course the dog insisted on moving so there is that.

Had to use mine yesterday. and I was impressed.

It's dissertation season so I've been somewhat stressed and my brain is slightly fried. I went to the computer science lab, spent the day there, then left and walked home. I got to my apartment building and started looking for my keys. I realised they weren't on me and I opened Find My.

I had to walk back for 20 minutes, I went on the floor I suspected I'd lost them and used the find function.

Worked like a charm.

I will always beep my stuff before I leave now.
