airtunes alternative

i'm gonna buy an airport express and i want to be able to listen to all my computer sound from it. i know i can do this with airtunes but there is a lag from what i've heard.

i watch a bunch of stuff which i stream online, is there anyway that i can stream my audio without lag. OR watch my internet content via airtunes to compensate for the lag.

I doubt you can remove the lag. But you can delay the video with VLC so the lag appears to be removed...
