AirTunes Question

Salutations... I have an iMac and 5th generation iPod set up at my house, but i have no wifi set up my internet is through the cable. Now my question is can I still use airtunes to broadcast songs from my iPod with out a wifi network set up in my house or do I need to do that first?

You need Wifi set up first. Airtunes runs on Wifi - you do not need an internet connection set up to it, however you will need to set up the wifi.
