I was using Airvideo, Iwebcamera and all those kind of applications with the following setup: cablemodem hooked to a Dlink Dir600 router and all computers and devices at home connected to that router.

I've recently changed ISPs and the new ISP installed a wireless gateway with only one ethernet port. As I have two desktops without wifi cards I just hooked the ethernet port of the gateway to my wifi router and get done with it.

However, I also have a non wifi router stored in a drawer, which I've tried unsuccessfully to sell (not to people interested on it, I guess). So I thought: I can connect the leased wifi gateway to the non wifi router, use the wifi from the gateway for the ipod and the netbook and hook the desktops to the non wifi router. And then I can sell the Dlink wifi router or lend it to my girlfriend. And while all devices connect to the Internet with that setup, those kind of apps for the Ipod I've mentioned no longer recognize the PC.

Is there a way to make them work with that setup or the Ipod needs to be connected to the same router as the desktop for those apps to work?
