I'm having an issue with my 2019 MacBook Pro disconnecting airplay when streaming to my AppleTV 4K. I use a hot corner to put the display to sleep but when I airplay a YouTube video to my TV but after the display is put it to sleep and hit pause, or 10 secs forward from the corner of the ATV remote, the MBP disconnects airplay from the ATV. It only happens when I wait 1 min after the display is asleep. If I wake the MBP and pause the video with the remote it works fine but if I pause it, put the display to sleep, it will disconnect on its own in a couple of mins.
I've reset the nvram
Reset smc
Restarted all devices
Booted into safe mode
MBP 11.5
ATV 14.7
The issue was there before the macOS and tvOS updates. I bought the MBP new a few days ago.
I have a 2012 MBPr that doesn't have the issue. Any idea what's going on?
