I have a 15" Al Powerbook running 10.4.5, working perfectly until I enabled the firmware password. The next time I booted the powerbook couldn't recognize the internal HD and I can now only boot off the optical drive (after turning the firmware password off). I tried resetting the PRAM and power manager but nothing seems to work. I used my old install CDs to boot up the disk utility and the HD doesn't even come up on disk utility.

If all else fails, can someone suggest a firewire enclosure so that I could install the internal HD as an external drive, potentially to use with the migration assistant?

Suggestions please!! Thanks in advance.
