Al Jazeera Apple article

It would really impact the ipod's popularity rating of Osama bin Laden starts praising his ipod on those monthly tapes he releases through Al-Jazeera though :D
 
...the hell is that "breakingnews" thing that downloads when i go to the site? i hate that...

interesting article... tho they claim the iPod has more than 50% marketshare, i don't think that's right, i thought it was 31% or something?

al jazeera's journalists have the biggest balls in the arab media.. 'mad props' to them for fightin censorship.

are apple products even sold in the M. East?
 
Wow, this is great - the amount of exposure and press Apple is getting lately is huge. But its also interesting to see that the iPod, not a computer this time, is causing all the hoopla :D

I personally check about 5 news websites a day, and have included Al Jazeera in my daily read. I recommend it for anyone looking to expand their sources of information...

This is the English version of the site which is geared toward English speaking people. Not sure if this article is featured on the arabic language site - anyone here read arabic? Let me guess....

Apple can definitely bring the world together! Actually - give an iPod to Bush - maybe the Helicoptor game can quench his warmongering spirit.

I'm brown, so I'm afraid to click that link. I figure my skin color and the fact that I read Al Jazeera's tech section would be enough to have me sent to Camp X-Ray.

Not really, they're both lame.

Al-Jazeera? You know what this means. If Ha'aretz publishes an article praising the iPod, the inherent contradiction is going to cause reality itself to blink out. They must be warned, and stopped.

The thing is, Conan is funny by making a general ass of himself, which is much funnier. It's like he doesn't even try and he's funny.

There will never be peace in the M.E. Even if Apple somehow managed to stop the current violence, next they´d be fighting over which iPod is cooler; the original or the mini.

The palestinians would probably fight the mini´s course. They always seem to have the smaller guns.
