I like idea of alarm clock app that It runs all night with rss and twiter but I'm wonderig how bad is it for iPad screen, battery, etc. Since screen is on all the time can't it damage iPad?
Sorry for my bad english.

While modern LCD screens can still get screen burn in, your iPad won't as long as you use it for more then an alarm clock.

I run my alarm app overnight with the brightness turned all the way down and with Auto-Brightness turned off. I've been doing this for several months with no effect on the screen. The one I use is "Beautiful Clock Radio", and although it allows me to touch the screen to brighten or dim the numbers it doesn't otherwise appear to have any features designed to limit burn in.

i keep Beautiful Clock Radio running 90% of the time on a docked ipod and my 1st gen ipad for about 8months and have not seen any screen issues.
