Recently, my alarm clock broke and instead of buying a replacement i thought i would have a look around for an alarm clock for my MBP. One thing though, I don't want to leave my MBP on all night just so the alarm can wake it from sleep.
Basically all I want to know is; Are there any alarm clocks out there that can power on the MacBook to wake me?

Thanks in advance,
Stefan

system preferences -> energy saver -> Schedule...

That will do the waking up of the MBP. Now you have to make it wake you ;)

I use my phone as alarm clock btw

Now that is something I haven't thought of...

I need my iTunes library to play as I fall into deep sleeps and if the sounds doesn't change, I grow accustomed to it and sleep right through it after the first time it is played... So I can't use my phone :p

Thanks for the suggestion though, i shall do that :)

There's plenty of apps out there that'll let you use iTunes as your alarm clock. Check out the Mac App Store and search Google if nothing in the App Store takes your fancy.

Wow. A $1200 alarm clock.

You know... you can buy something dedicated for the task at hand for about $7. It'll even play the radio.
