Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum to post this. I just bought two iHome ibt29c bluetooth units for each of my kids only to find out that neither of the units will stay connected via bluetooth to an iPad air, iPhone 6 or iPod touch. I contacted iHome support only to find out they have never heard of this problem before and could not offer me any solutions. I don't need it to be bluetooth but my older son wants to use his iPad air to wake up to. Unfortunately this is not the only iHome unit I have not had good luck with at all so I am extremely skeptical to buy any more iHome devices. I have done research to read online reviews where there seems to be many unsatisfied customers. Reliability is my number one concern followed by a user friendly design with decent sound. If anyone has any thoughts on why these iHomes will not stay connected, I'm all ears. I have this Sony sound dock device model number icf-cs15ip that I absolutely love but unfortunately Sony as well as Phillips seem to be out of the alarm clock market.
