iPad Alarm doesn’t shut off when you hit stop

When I tap on the stop button the alarm sound changes to a squeaking tone. The only way to make it stop is to power off the device or start another app that plays sound like a YouTube clip. needless to say this is pretty irritating at 6am in the morning. Anyone else facing this issue? ios 13.1.2 on a 5th gen iPad.

That's very weird. Try a Reset All Settings and see if that helps.
