I bought a Touch 6 days ago I was pleased with it until I realised that the alarm in Calendar is that quite that I can't actually hear it unless it is on the desk right by me and even then it isn't deafening! 
Being as the main reason for getting the touch was to replace my old Palm this scenario has deemed it pretty useless to me. What is the use of setting an alarm if it can't be heard. Someone told me that iPhone is louder, don't know if that is right or not but I know now that I wish I'd bough he iPhone and not the Touch
