Alarm for iPhone 4S

Hi, I have an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4S, I am looking for a decent alarm dock for my iPhone. I know they make alarms now, that are also compatible with the iPad. This is not a necessity though. I have read some reviews online on a few products, but i'm not sure what is really out there. Also I have a smart cover on the ipad and a case on the iphone, would it be possible to plug them in without taking the cases off. Please tell me what alarm you use or recommend.
