for some reason whenever I select album artwork as the screensaver in tiger on my macbook, the system pref. quits. When i try to open the pref. again it just quits.

The only way to solve it is to find a specific file in the library.

Why does it do this?!

I get the same error. It quits then asks me to send a report to Apple.

I'm on 10.4.7 intel / using artwork downloaded automatically using the new feature in itunes 7. Maybe it doesn't like it unless it's manually downloaded?

Yes someone please help with this problem!!!

I have heard solutions involving deleting com.apple.screensaver.plist from Library/Preferences... but for whatever reason, I don't even have this .plist file... if anyone has figured out this album art screensaver problem a response would be appriciated!

Thanks!

Ah! fixed my own problem.

Here is the solution:

Go to Spotlight, and begin typing "itunesartw.." until the .plist file(s) comes up. Delete whatever .plist file is there.

Reopen SysPref, and set the iTunes artwork how you would like, however, 2 rows does not work.

Hopefully this solves the problem I know a lot of people are having.
