Album Artwork Showing for Non-Synced Albums

I have a few albums that are not synced on my iPad, but the artwork for them is still displayed with a cloud symbol because they were purchased from itunes. I have itunes match, but it is turned off on the ipad. How do you hide these previously purchased albums from showing up in the album and artist view on the iPad?
